Ug, I did this on Monday, had no idea I didn't post it...

I had the idea of the kid next door that doesn't play well with other children..

Fish thing made by smearing paint around, then adding an outline with black acrylic.  Yay.

Quick acrylic experimentation - trying to render form and such without any regard to hue/temperature and to only focus on value.  Kinda worked, but that's what experiments are for.

Concept art for a dystopian collaboration I'm working on.  I'm actually really stoked at how this came out.  Yay!

Uhhhhh, composition is kinda craptastic, but alas.  Maybe I'll fix it up a bit soon.  Inspired by the idea of "into the dragon's den."

Ug, another day of almost missing a post.  Anyway, after checking out Mike Shine's amaaaazing show last night at 941 Geary gallery, I figured I'd do this oni (Japanese ogre) in a style similar to his.  Fun fun fun!

4 crappy photos of my work I did at my last live painting.  Friend Annie Wang, board member of the Asian American Theater Company (AATC) had a big birthday bash/fundraiser and asked me to paint live.  I ended up donating this piece to AATC to auction off, but I was waaaay too tired to stay around to see who bought it.  Whoever you are, I hope you enjoy it!

Photos: 25 min, 1 hr, 2 hr, 2 hr 45 min/finish
